Crimson Peak (2015)
The 'scary' stuff is very poorly done and pretty stupid. The rest of the story and the look of the film had potential.

Pan (2015)
Use your imagination and know it is a kid's story and you should find this quite good. Hugh Jackman is impressive in this as in just about any role he takes on.

The Martian (2015)
Mom and I loved it. 3D was appropriate, not ridiculous. Story is faithful to the book but leaving out a few details for time. When I was a kid I wanted to be in the first crew to go to Mars. Then the Challenger exploded and I grew older and that opportunity is gone, but there is still hope for a future generation and this movie and the book shows that going to Mars, while difficult, is something within our grasp soon, should we choose to pursue it.

The Intern (2015)
De Niro's character is admirable and enjoyable but not believable. Same for Anne Hathaway's. The movie started out fun but got overly long and a little too heavy for its britches. Not bad overall.

Shaun the Sheep (2015)
Very cute! Great movie for young kids and the adults will enjoy it too. Oh - and there's essentially no dialogue, like the old Tom and Jerry cartoons.

A Walk In The Woods (2015)
Not a lot happens but it is fairly cute. I am pretty sure the book is better. Definitely attracted an audience more silver-haired than most.

Ricki And The Flash (2015)
Rick Springfield in a movie. And Meryl Streep sings very well, of course.

Pixels (2015)
Critics who didn't like this - I think they just didn't get it. Nothing to take seriously here - It is every young kid's fantasy to be a hero and save the world and get the girl etc. brought to "life" - very cute and right out of a 12-year-old from the 80's mind. Mom and I both enjoyed this.

I didn't look at my watch during the movie, so it must have been all right.
